6-Row Base Malt
6-Row malt is a light, mild, base malt made from 6-row barley and includes a much higher protein content and enzymatic power than 2-row barley. Adding 6-row malt to specialty malts, wheat malts, or adjunct malts is beneficial, as they have little to no enzymatic properties. When used in high capacity, the use of adjuncts may be needed, or protein rests during mashing.
PLEASE NOTE: Multiples of the same grain variety it will be combined into a single bag unless otherwise noted.
