Biscuit Malt is known for its “toasty” finish and its warm, bread and biscuit-like smell and taste. When added to lagers and ales, Biscuit Malt brings out the roasted flavors and aromas typically found therein, while also adding hints of chocolate and black malts. This malt is well-suited for all styles and especially English and Brown ales and porters. Please note: There are no enzymes in this malt, so it must be mashed with malts with a large amount of diastatic power.
